Hello Friends!
This is a quick post to show you a piece I finished up a week or so ago. It flew out of my workshop so fast I didn’t even take a “before” shot. I picked it up on Craigslist and when a client was dropping off a piece for a custom refinish, she spotted it. We worked together to customize it for her living room.
I painted it with General Finishes milk paint in Driftwood. This a really beautiful warm medium gray. I absolutely love it. I also added new white milk glass knobs from D. Lawless Hardware. They are so pretty and they look great with the gray paint.
The drawers were in great shape, but just for grins and giggles, I lined them with a fun chevron paper.
And a shot of the top. Check out the vintage Mary Tyler Moore surfing photo.
Thanks for stopping by!

Looks gorgeous. One quick question when lining drawers do you need to glue the paper down with anything. I recently lined the kids drawers (with Marvel paper) and hubby said to stick the paper down but I wasn’t sure it was needed. Who was right? (I haven’t stuck them down as I was scared of hurting the wood)
