Welcome to my Christmas home tour!
I am so thrilled to be sharing my holiday home with you as part of the Jennifer Rizzo Holiday Housewalk! (insert confetti cannon here!) It’s such an honor to be included among the incredible bloggers on this tour. You can start the tour at the beginning, and see all of the homes by clicking here.
If you are stopping by from Jen’s home at City Farmhouse, I am so happy you are here! It’s a bit of a pinch me moment to be on this tour following Jen. Her blog is one of the first blogs I ever followed, and a huge part of my decision to start a blog of my own. She is such an inspiration to me on so many levels, and I know you will love her holiday home.
My home is stop number 28 on the tour, so let’s get started! You can see my Christmas home tour from last year here.
Festive Fireside Living Room
We will start the tour in my living room. The main level in my home is an open plan, and this is the first space you enter as you come in the front door. I used flickering candles, cozy textures and pops of classic Christmas red to create a cozy fireside space. We have two sofas facing each other, and it creates a nice spot for conversation, and of course, watching television, too.
The garland on the mantle is faux, but I think it is so pretty and realistic looking. It’s my first time using faux garland on the mantle, and I really love it. I used fresh cedar garland on the stairs.
The Peace on Earth sign above the television adds a joyous message for the season.
I mixed and matched knit and faux fur stockings to cozy up and soften the mantle.

Merry and Bright Kitchen
The living room opens up to the dining room and kitchen, and I continued the greenery and subtle pops of red for a cohesive look.
We recently installed the carpet runner on the stairs, and I love it. The staircase is dead center in our home, and therefore, a huge feature on the main floor. The runner has really helped to soften the stairs.
I added more garland to the open doorway between our den and kitchen. It frames the view into the kitchen so nicely.
I like to keep the kitchen clean and bright no matter the season. The pops of red feel festive and bright in here.
I added some cute galvanized metal houses to the open shelves, and a few sweet treats to the vintage glass jars.

Cozy and Classic Christmas Den
This is the first year I have placed the Christmas tree in our den, and it definitely ups the warm and cozy factor in here. I love curling up on the sectional in the evening with the glowing candles and twinkle of Christmas lights. I might just leave the tree here all year!
I use many of the same Christmas tree ornaments year after year. Growing up, the main (and pretty much only) Christmas decoration in our home was the Christmas tree. We used the same ornaments each year, and just added a new box or two of tinsel to the tree (Remember that stuff? My cat would always try to eat it. He climbed the Christmas tree a few times, too). As a kid, I just loved pulling out the boxes of my favorite ornaments each Christmas and using them to decorate the tree. I suppose that’s why I feel nostalgic about using the same ornaments each Christmas now.
I used a mix of red plaids that feel classically Christmas to me.
I added some flocked pinecones, a few sprigs of fresh cedar, and extra ornaments to my white bowl.
The little white houses are so sweet and simple.

All is Calm Master Bedroom
The last space on my Christmas home tour is the master bedroom. To create a calm and cozy master bedroom, I kept the decor simple and neutral. I used soft and warm textures, and a few hints of blue and charcoal gray.
The driftwood deer was a thrift store find. It’s organic and a festive touch in the window.
The soft and cozy bedding with lots of layers will last the season.
I picked up the white ceramic bells at the Target dollar spot, and hung them with an olive wreath over the bed. The greenery keeps the light and bright space from feeling stark.
We have a small seating area in our bedroom. The lighting here is so nice, and it’s a cozy spot to relax.
And here’s a little peek at my bedroom office space simply styled for the season.
Merry Christmas to you!
